Dominic Monaghan Claims ‘Lost’ Co-Star Matthew Fox ‘Beats Women’

An airplane isn't the only thing that crashed on "Lost" — so did the relationship between the show's two stars, Dominic Monaghan and Matthew Fox. On Sunday, two years after the hit ABC series went off the air, Monaghan accused Fox of abusing women in a bizarre Twitter conversation with a fan to promote his new documentary, "Wild Things." When the fan asked the actor to get the former "Party of Five" star to join the social network, Monaghan responded, "He beats women. No thanks." In a follow-up tweet, he reiterated his previous statement, adding, "Not isolated incidents. Often."

Indeed, Fox was accused of attacking a female party bus driver last August when she would not allow him to board her vehicle because he was so intoxicated. According to the woman, the married-with-children actor punched her in both the chest and crotch after he refused to get off her bus. "He just kept staring at me with his mouth wide open and not saying anything," explained Heather Bormann at the time. "I told him, 'You have to leave buddy. You are trespassing on my bus.'" The charges against Fox — who also got arrested for DUI on May 7 — ended up being dropped, but the victim still planned to sue him for $25,000.

Fox, 45, has yet to respond to Monaghan's claims, but a source close to him did tell TMZ that they are "completely false" and that Fox has "never beaten a woman in his life." Monaghan, who dated fellow "Lost" star Evangeline Lilly for five years until 2009, has yet to delete the tweets in question — and has even taunted fans of Fox who have criticized his accusations. "Oh haters, for you to feel SO strongly, you know you LOVE me really," Monaghan, 35, wrote the next day. "I love you too.Lets dance. You can't help yourself.Cmon, you'll feel better."
