Demi Moore Makes First Red Carpet Appearance Since Treatment — and Solicits Suggestions for New Twitter Name

Demi Moore is back — and she's ready to change things up.

Making her first public appearance since her stint in rehab, the 49-year-old actress attended a party Tuesday in Beverly Hills to celebrate British TV host Amanda De Cadenet's new TV show, "The Conversation." Moore, who is the executive producer of the Lifetime series, looked happy and healthy as she posed for photos alongside De Cadenet and chatted with fellow guests including Rachel Zoe and Kelly Preston. She had on a sleeveless black pantsuit — showing off her toned arms — and sandals; she wore her long hair down.

Moore's glowing appearance is a departure from how she looked at red carpet events leading up to her January hospitalization and subsequent treatment in rehab. It was a rough time for the star, who ended her 6-year marriage to Ashton Kutcher in November, and she acknowledged that. Of her gaunt appearance she told Harper's Bazaar: "[I'm] thin in a way that I never imagined somebody would be saying to me, 'You're too thin, and you don't look good.'"

It's clear that the star is ready for a new chapter and her next step involves a name change — a Twitter name change, to be precise. Since her split from Kutcher, she's held on to the handle @mrskutcher, at one point defending her decision by saying, "Changing my twitter name isn't a top priority for me… Does it really matter?" But apparently now it does matter. Yesterday, she tweeted a special request to her nearly 5 million followers, writing: "Time for a change, twitter name change... any suggestions?" Followed by: "Collecting all the suggestions! thank you. keep them coming!!""

Her fans have been offering up countless ideas (everything from "HotExWife" to "SheWhoLaughsLast") — and so have some celebrities. TV host Piers Morgan actually tweeted back to the actress, "How about mrsmorgan?" to which Moore replied, "I think that one is taken!"
