Ashton Kutcher Attends Rumer Willis Concert

Ashton Kutcher may no longer be with Demi Moore, but he hasn't stopped being a supportive stepfather to her three daughters. And that was evident on Tuesday night when the "Two and a Half Men" star attended a concert at Hollywood's Sayers Club put on by the oldest of her brood, 23-year-old Rumer Willis. According to People, Kutcher was seen cheering and clapping for his former stepdaughter throughout her four-song set, even snapping pictures on his cell phone. The actor was the only parental figure on-hand for the performance. Moore, who just completed a stint in rehab, was not in attendance; nor was her father Bruce Willis or his wife Emma Hemming.

Kutcher, dressed down in a white T-shirt and flannel button-down with jeans, arrived shortly after midnight with a pal and headed straight for Rumer's table, reports Us Weekly. "[She] seemed happy to see Ashton there, supporting her on her big night," says an eyewitness, who adds that the two chatted on a couch before she headed backstage to prep for her performance. Rumer's set consisted entirely of cover songs, including Ann Peebles's soul staple "I Can't Stand the Rain," "High Low Middle" by indie-pop group My Brightest Diamond, Otis Redding's "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay," and British soul singer Lianne La Havas's "Age." Kutcher was seen even singing along when he knew the words. After the show, he and Rumer shared a "long, emotional" embrace, an onlooker tells People. "It seemed really happy and loving — and like the two would be friendly ... no matter what."

It seems that Kutcher, 33, is also still friendly with Rumer's mother. Just days before the concert, it was reported that he had visited Moore in rehab, where she had been since January, allegedly for substance abuse and an eating disorder following her November split from Kutcher. The actor met with his ex because "he knew it was important to her daughters," the source tells People. Still, it does not look like a reconciliation is in the cards for the two. Kutcher — who was accused of cheating on his wife with 22-year-old party girl Sara Leal — has reportedly moved on to a new romance with Hollywood writer Lorene Scafaria. The pair was recently spotted on a group date for a day of laser tag in Los Angeles.
