HELLO! Canada celebrates 50 Most Beautiful Canadians at Toronto party

On Thursday, the same day that HELLO! Canada announced its 50 Most Beautiful Canadians, the magazine hosted a bash for the very same comely Canucks.

Though many of the big names who graced the issue -- including cover star Avril Lavigne as well as Rachel McAdams, Ryan Gosling and Justin Bieber -- did not attend, a number of other Northern stars hit the Shangri-La hotel's red carpet in Toronto.

Of the women honoured, "Top Chef Canada" host Lisa Ray appeared in a draping black one-shouldered dress, while eTalk anchor Tanya Kim opted for a short coral cocktail frock.

"Honoured & humbled to be included on @HelloCanada 's list of 50," Kim wrote on Instagram. "Here's to all the young girls out there who feel they're too different to be 'beautiful'. Always remind yourselves that true beauty comes from within. <3"

Though A-listers like Ryan Reynolds were nowhere to be found, a number of Canada's Most Beautiful men showed up to HELLO!'s event last night. Country singer Dean Brody, for instance, complete with cowboy hat, rubbed shoulders with Guess? model Ashley Diana Morris.

Singer Matt Dusk was also on hand for the celebrations as was ET Canada reporter Roz Weston and actor Adam Korson, from Citytv's must-watch new series "Seed." "Thank you @HelloCanada for a great time last night," he tweeted. "You're all very sweet."

And not ones to miss out on a star-spangled Toronto event, "Bachelor Canada" alum Brad Smith and his bride-to-be Bianca Kamber were also present at the festivities and seemed to have a sense of humour about not making the mag's list.

"Me and @biankakamber11 at hello Canada's 50 most beautiful party," he wrote on Instagram. "For good reasons we were left off!!! And yes those are pink pants boom."
