Seacrest out … on a yacht in France

With all of the showbiz jobs Ryan Seacrest has, it's amazing he's able to sneak away for a weekend, let alone take an all-out vacation in Europe. But it's all of those gigs — including the two-year contract he just signed to continue on as the host of "American Idol" for a whopping $30 million — that buy the luxurious life the guy is used to … like his trip to the ritzy resort town of Saint-Tropez, France, this week.

The media mogul looked to be having some fancy fun on the French Riviera on Tuesday when he was spotted cruising around on a WaveRunner with his sister, Meredith, before riding up to a mega yacht called the Polar Star to go for an afternoon cruise. According to the website for the company that charters the yacht, which is based out of the Cayman Islands, the Polar Star consists of six levels, six bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, a hot tub, and multiple outdoor decks, and comes stocked with tons of equipment for on-the-water fun like jet skis, a banana boat, scuba and snorkel gear, and, of course, WaveRunners, which the media mogul was quick to take advantage of.

Assuming Seacrest is staying on the yacht, he actually needs the space (well, maybe not that much space, but a few of the bedrooms, at least). In addition to his sister, the 37-year-old is also entertaining other family members while on vacay, including his parents, Gary and Constance.

After lounging on the yacht for a bit, the Seacrest family later headed to dry land, prompting Ry to trade his life jacket and swim trunks for a button-down white shirt, shades, and a fedora. In other words, the rich-guy-vacationing-in-Saint-Tropez's-uniform.

Unfortunately, his girlfriend, "Rock of Ages" star Julianne Hough, had to miss all the fun since she's off shooting her next film, "Safe Haven," in the less famous waterfront town of Southport, North Carolina. No word on whether the Polar Star has a sister yacht in the Tar Heel State.
