Rihanna created quite a stir in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Thursday when she attempted to do a bit of sight seeing. The pop princess --donning a bright yellow button-down and cut-off jean shorts -- headed for the city's Christ the Redeemer statue with a pal and was swarmed by fans and paparazzi. She's in the Brazilian city for her international "LOUD" tour and is headlining the Rock in Rio festival on Friday.
Apparently, the 23-year-old beauty from Barbados is really interested in religious statues. During her trip to Portofino, Italy, last month, Rihanna took a boat to San Fruttuoso Bay, and then headed under the sea with a snorkel to get a peek at Christ of the Abyss, a submerged bronze statue of Jesus Christ. This is one active vacationer!
