With her focus on fashion and ever-changing hairstyles, Rihanna seems more like the type to don an expensive bikini and lounge poolside than one to dive into the ocean with a mask and snorkel on, but that's exactly what the "Man Down" singer did on Wednesday during her visit to Portofino, Italy. She did grow up on a Caribbean island, after all!
The pop star and some pals were taken by boat to San Fruttuoso Bay, and then headed under the sea to get a peek at one of the ritzy tourist town's attractions, Christ of the Abyss, a submerged bronze statue of Jesus Christ.
But Rihanna's still Rihanna, of course, and rather than wear some boring bathing suit, she actually dove in wearing red lipstick and a little black dress. How sea chic!
The 23-year-old is probably happy to be in Europe since rumors have been swirling back in the U.S. that Larry Flynt's adult entertainment company Hustler has a sex tape of her with rapper J. Cole.
"We don't believe U, U need more people...AND of course an actual sex tape! #slownewsday," Rihanna rebutted via Twitter Wednesday night.
