Jaden and Willow Smith Catch Waves in Hawaii

Forget stuffing! Jaden and Willow Smith's Thanksgiving vacation is all about surfing.

Jada Pinkett Smith, 41, and her multitalented offspring touched down in Hawaii on Tuesday for a holiday getaway. And they wasted no time hitting the water! That afternoon they had their own little beach party with a group of friends.

Both Jaden, 14, and Willow, 12, spent time surfing — and they certainly weren't novices. Donning red-and-white striped board shorts and a surf shirt, the "The Karate Kid" star rode the waves like a pro. The "Whip My Hair" singer, in a mismatched bikini, also showed off her swell skills. She then ditched the board to splash around in the water with a pal.

Back on the beach, Jada was cheering on her kiddos and chatting with friends. Although she happily showed off her bikini bod a few months ago (remember her "We do get better with age" photo?), the celeb mom kept covered up in gray pants and an oversized sweatshirt this time around. She was also carrying a book on Spanish verb tenses — perhaps a beachside homeschool lesson for her kids, who, as we've pointed out before, never seem to physically attend school.

Notably absent from this otherwise picture-perfect family day out? None other than Will Smith, 44. While this could kick up a whole new batch of rumors about trouble in his marriage to Jada (they've been plagued with gossip for years), perhaps Will simply opted not to hit the beach. He does love to golf, especially in Hawaii, where he has competed in various golf tournaments over the years. Or maybe he was out shopping for a gift for Jada — they'll celebrate their 15th anniversary next month.

The Smiths have long visited Hawaii, but during this particular trip they're staying in different accommodations than they have the last few years. That's because Will and Jada quietly sold their home on Kauai last year. The 2,220-square-foot abode sat on seven acres and had a swimming pool and hot tub. It sold for $20 million, which was $6.5 million more than the couple paid for it two years earlier.

No doubt some of that $6.5 million is funding their Thanksgiving stay — presumably at a five-star, beachfront hotel. Lucky them!
