George Clooney dotes on Stacy Keibler during Lake Como boat ride

It was anchors aweigh for George Clooney and his girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, who entertained some friends aboard the actor's boat on Lake Como on Thursday.

Silver fox Clooney, 51, looked effortlessly handsome in a blue shirt and white pants as he gallantly helped his 32-year-old lady love aboard his speed boat, which his amusingly named "Boat." Keibler, who has been photographed on several shopping trips during her summer stay in Italy, looked like she just finished a modeling shoot as she boarded the boat in paisley pants, a floppy hat, and carried a Chanel bag.

The seemingly happy couple has been hosting guests at Clooney's posh villa all summer. The latest visitors to get the VIP treatment? Newsman Chris Wallace and his wife, Lorraine. They were the reason behind Clooney and Keibler's water adventure as they gave them a tour of the beautiful lake community. Clooney's home is in the small town of Laglio, which is on the south-western branch of Lake Como.

Clooney has invited many A-list guests to Villa Oleandra over the years, including Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Channing Tatum. But he has also had many journalists visit through the years as well. Last fall during an appearance on the "Late Show With David Letterman," Clooney talked about hosting guests Charlie Rose, David Gergen, and the late Walter Cronkite. He also detailed a story in which he pranked "the most trusted man in America," which resulted in Cronkite jumping in the lake.

While Clooney and Keibler have spent most of their summer at his Italian getaway, she will soon have to pack up and head back to Hollywood because she's landed a new gig. The former wrestler and "Dancing With the Stars" contestant will be hosting a new reality-competition series called "Supermarket Superstars" for Lifetime. The show will feature food product inventors who pitch their ideas to a panel of experts in hopes that their creation will end up being sold at a major grocery chain.

Meanwhile, Clooney's next big project, "Gravity," a 3-D sci-fi drama co-starring Sandra Bullock, has been pushed from its November release to 2013 leaving his schedule open … to perhaps dote some more on his working girl.
