Jaunt: Celebrity GetawaysAshlee and Nicole Meet Up South of the Border
Hollywood probably felt a little empty over the weekend, since it seemed that Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, was the place to be for several celebs!
Nicole Richie hit the south-of-the-border resort town to celebrate her 30th birthday. The mom of two left the kiddies behind and showed off her figure in a two-piece swimsuit while hanging out with pals Samantha Ronson and Juliette Lewis.
Meanwhile, another hot young mom, 26-year-old Ashlee Simpson, also donned a bikini during her vacation in the seaside town and was accompanied by her current beau, "Boardwalk Empire" star VincentPiazza, dad Joe, and sister Jessica.
The crews merged for lunch at one point and it turns out they have something in common (besides just being rich and famous). Nicole and Jessica will both have the title of "celebrity mentor" on the upcoming NBC reality competition series "Fashion Star." Think they talked shop?
