When Usher's stepson was injured in a Jet Ski accident last month, he and his warring ex-wife Tameka Foster put aside their differences as the 11-year-old fought for his life in a Georgia hospital. But now, just two weeks after young Kile Glover lost his battle, the feud between the two is once again alive and flourishing. A lawyer for Foster filed new documents this week claiming that the "Scream" singer is only pretending to be grieving the loss of Kile so he can get sympathy from the court.

Usher, who did not attend Kile's funeral, recently requested the next hearing in their bitter custody battle for their two sons Raymond Usher V, 4, and Naviyd, 3, be delayed due to the tragedy because it would cause him "unnecessary stress and strain." He also added that he felt Foster, 41, would have an unfair advantage if they did not delay the August 13 court date because she would be seen as a mother grieving the loss of her child. But Foster's lawyer retaliated in the new papers, claiming that Usher's "stress and strain" is "bogus" and that his request is nothing more than "a transparent sham."

Foster, who split from Usher, 33, in 2009 after just two years of marriage, also goes on to say that her famous ex only visited her dying son once during the 15 days he was on life support before he eventually passed away on July 21. She also says she begged him to tweet a "Please pray for Kile" message after the accident, but he refused, and instead posted a photo of his breakfast with the caption "Breakfast of Champions." While Foster has laid low since her son's July 27 funeral, a smiling Usher was photographed on July 30 in Los Angeles while out with a friend for lunch. On Thursday, he took a break from tweeting photos of him working out to write, "I miss you too. Silent is golden moments like that are worth a million expressions. Not sayin much cuz I'm tryin not be #misunderstood."
