Will.i.am: ‘My car was stolen’

This is one party that Lindsay Lohan can't be blamed for ruining! While the 26-year-old was in the building for will.i.am's bash at The Avalon in Hollywood on Monday evening, she wasn't the reason he ended up having a really bad night. As far as we know, she didn't even cause any fights or car crashes! Nope, will.i.am — who was celebrating the release of his upcoming solo album, #willpower — can blame his troubles on the person (or persons) who supposedly stole his white custom DeLorean while he was inside mingling. The car was the template for the auto firm, IAMAUTO, that will.i.am has said he wanted to launch this year to provide jobs in his native L.A. Do you think they rocked the Peas' "I've Got a Feeling" on the Beats by Dr. Dre sound system when they pulled away?

The 37-year-old singer, clad in a funky black-and-gold ensemble, realized the car was missing when he went to leave the bash in the wee hours of the morning with his date for evening, former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger. When the car was nowhere to be found, he immediately took to Twitter. "My car was stolen...what the f---," he wrote. The messages were increasingly desperate as the minutes ticked by and the car still didn't show. "#givemebackmycar this joke is getting old...," he wrote. Kinda makes you feel sorry for the guy! By Tuesday afternoon, will.i.am still claimed he couldn't locate his ride. "Flying to portland for #intel while my car is still m.i.a...#wheresmycar," he tweeted Tuesday afternoon. Interestingly enough, Jalopnick reported that the car was never really missing, just locked away when the valet will.i.am used to park it closed for the night. The site noted that the L.A. Police Department was never even called to the area to investigate. And this morning, will.i.am's rep sent TMZ an email saying, "Everything is fine, he has his car," yet the singer has been tweeting all afternoon about his missing vehicle. So were his wheels stolen … or not?

Regardless, Will should've known the night was taking a weird turn when his guests included not only Lohan, but another child star gone bad (although he's since cleaned up), Corey Feldman. (Where are Fergie and Josh Duhamel when you need them?) While Lohan made quite an entrance with her pantless ensemble, "Goonies" star Feldman chose to flaunt his upper-body in a sheer shirt that color coordinated perfectly with the outfits of his two dates.

Let's hope the night isn't a sign of things to come for the album! It's scheduled to be released on September 14.
