Tom and Katie Take Suri for Dinner in NYC

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were spotted heading out for dinner at Il Cantinori in New York City Tuesday night with their very squirmy daughter Suri, who did not look at all impressed to be out with her parents! The precocious princess turns 5 on April 18.

Earlier in the evening, Katie -- who was named one of People magazine's Most Beautiful people of 2011 -- dropped by "Late Show With David Letterman" to wish the late-night talk show host a happy 64th birthday, and to read the Top Ten list.

The "Kennedys" star's amusing reasons for presenting the Top Ten list included:

"Lost a bet with Tom"

"I'm here tonight anyway playing bass with the Foo Fighters"

"It kills time before my table's ready at the Cheesecake Factory"

"This and an hour of traffic school gets me out of a speeding ticket."
