Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter Sled With Their Kids

Director Tim Burton and his actress wife Helena Bonham Carter were spotted on Sunday, but there was no sign of Johnny Depp or the weirdness that usually fills Burton flicks, such as "Edward Scissorhands" and "Alice in Wonderland"; That's because instead of staging a scene for his latest blockbuster, the filmmaker, 53, and his British bride, 45, were simply spending the day with their kids, 8-year-old son Billy and 4-year-old daughter Nell, sledding in the snow on London's Primrose Hill.

Burton had better enjoy his downtime while he can. His packed 2012 schedule includes directing and producing the movie version of 1960s TV series "Dark Shadows" (starring Depp, of course), and directing the stop-motion animated "Frankenweenie" in October. The latest project he's set to produce, 2013's "Big Eyes," which is based on a true story, sounds promising. Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Reynolds will play Margaret and Walter Keane, a married couple whose paintings of doe-eyed children became a pop phenomenon in the '50s and '60s. While Margaret created the art, her husband took sole credit and even signed the paintings, which became an issue when the two divorced and both claimed they were the artist. Will you check it out?
