Teresa Giudice: ‘I’m Happy That Everyone Is Going to See the Real Teresa’ on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’

When Teresa Giudice isn't mixing it up with "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast, you'll most likely find her cooking in the kitchen with her four daughters. Recently, the reality star -- who has two cookbooks out including Fabulicious -- spoke with omg! before she was set to appear at a benefit held at the Ferrari-Maserati of Long Island car dealership. While Guidice didn't actually prepare any of the food served at the soiree, the caterer for the event used several of her appetizer recipes. "My stuffed mushrooms are amazing," she boasts. "They melt in your mouth. You've got to try them. There's nothing like it!"

Though she's often portrayed as the hot-headed Jersey "Housewife," at the core Giudice is a devoted mother and wife, who makes husband Joe and their girls Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana dinner every night. Of course, she usually whips up something from one of her cookbooks, which features dishes that have been passed down through her family for generations.

"[My daughters] love cooking with mommy. Whatever mommy does, they want to do! And when I'm making dinner, I encourage them to help me because they love it and then they want to eat whatever they make," she notes. We [recently] made homemade sausages. It was like this big two-day long process and I'm glad my daughters were there to see it and they were amazed by it. I want to keep our Italian tradition going."

But fans of the upcoming season of the "Celebrity Apprentice" (premiering on Sunday, February 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT) will be surprised when they get to see a very different side of the 39-year-old reality star, who left her hubby and kids back in Jersey while she headed to the Big Apple in order to take part in Donald Trump's show. Giudice's charity of choice? The NephCure Foundation, a national kidney disease non-profit committed to funding research for the rare disease Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and Nephrotic Syndrome. Giudice selected the organization after she met a little boy named Matthew Levine, who suffers from FSGS, at a St. Jude event. Inspired by Levine and his ongoing battle, the mother of four decided to do whatever she could to raise funds for the foundation and hopefully help out her young friend in return. "I raised a lot of money," she shares, leading one to believe that she may go pretty far on the show.

"I'm happy that everyone is going to see the real Teresa, the businesswoman that I am," she continues. (In case you didn't know, she has a third cookbook coming out in May called Fabulicious: Fast & Fit and is launching a line of pre-made bottled Belinnis called Fabulinni.)

She also has nothing but good things to say about Mr. Trump. "I could totally see him being the next president," she gushes, adding that she even kind of likes his infamous coif. "Everyone talks about his hair. Maybe his hair doesn't look good on TV? I think he looks great. I think it totally fits him. He gets all these beautiful women -- he must be doing something right!"

And apparently, the admiration is mutual. On "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" Tuesday, The Donald was busy promoting the upcoming "Celebrity Apprentice" season along with Giudice and stated that he thinks she is great ... and that she makes for great TV too. "She actually flips a table, she gets so angry at a group. [Teresa is] a very calm person … until she gets angry. And then she's nasty, but she's terrific!"

While Giudice wouldn't reveal to omg! whether or not she had any beefs with the rest of the "Celebrity Apprentice" cast, she did note that a few of her favorite people on the show include Arsenio Hall, Adam Carolla ("he's so sweet"), "American Chopper" star Paul Teutul Sr., and Clay Aiken.

As for her fellow "Housewives," well, that's another story. The upcoming season, which will debut on Bravo this spring, promises to be even more dramatic than last season -- which featured a family brawl at a baby christening! "You haven't seen anything yet," promises Giudice, who wrapped filming on Season 4 in late October. "It just blew me away. The only thing that I can say is I'm very sad about a lot of the things that happened. And everyone thinks it's fake, and I wish it was, but it's so not."

For those concerned about her strained relationship with younger brother Joe Gorga, Giudice says, "It's a work in progress. I really wish you would have seen our relationship before he was married. We were best friends, we were inseparable. Hopefully one day we'll get back [to that place]. I love him more than anything."
