Goddess: Celebrity Moms and DadsTaye and Idina’s Broadway Baby?
Although Taye Diggs has been busy filming episodes for the new season of "Private Practice," he found time to enjoy a Sunday outing at the Hollywood Farmers' Market with his wife Idina Menzel and their adorable son Walker, who will turn 1 on September 2. Clearly, the little cutie has inherited his parents' good looks ... but time will tell if he inherits their musical talents as well.
In case you didn't know, Taye met his beautiful bride while the two were starring in the original Broadway production of "Rent." Diggs eventually headed to Hollywood, where his career took off with starring roles in such films as "How Stella Got her Groove Back" and "Go," while Idina went on to win a Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Elphaba in "Wicked." Since moving to LA with her hubby, Menzel has gone on to guest star on several TV shows, including "Glee," where she had a recurring role as Rachel's birth mother, Shelby Corcoran.
Idina's character quit as coach of the rival glee club Vocal Adrenaline after they won at Regionals last season, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that she'll pop up in future episodes of the hit show. After all, she did adopt Puck and Quinn's daughter, Beth. As for Taye, you can catch the hunky actor in "Private Practice" when it returns to ABC's airwaves on September 23.
