Snooki: ‘I know I’m a pregnant whale’

With about a month to go until she fist pumps her way through the delivery of her first child, Snooki is officially in the home stretch of her pregnancy. And, as is often the case in the third trimester, she's feeling a little … large.

On Wednesday, the petite "Jersey Shore" star posted a photo to Twitter of her pregnant belly. In the Instagram pic, she's lounging on a couch, with her head on an animal-print pillow (natch!), and she has one very well-manicured hand placed on her rounded belly. The first-time mom-to-be definitely dipped into her makeup bag because she's glammed to the max in the self portrait, which she captioned, "Relaxin with child."

As one would expect, Snooki (real name: Nicole Polizzi) is not sugar-coating the ups and downs of pregnancy. "Yes I know I'm a pregnant whale," she tweeted shortly before posting her belly shot. She also publicly warned her fiancé, Jionni LaValle, that she wasn't in the cheeriest mood. "Oh god I'm feeling like a witch today. Watch out @JLaValle, I will hurt you."

In July, the mom-to-be confirmed that she and LaValle had already decided on a baby name — but it was her female "Jersey Shore" castmates who slipped and accidentally revealed that Snooki was planning to call her son Lorenzo during an interview with USA Today. Her best friend Jenni "JWoww" Farley quickly tried to cover, saying, "Well, it's a name she's thinking about," but with the secret out in the open, Snooki confirmed the selection, noting, "No, it's done."

Speaking of the besties, Snooki and JWoww will be pairing up for a second season of their spin-off show. Though the first season of "Snooki & JWoww" took place in Jersey City, they're in search of a new shooting location. However, the shore town Point Pleasant recently voted against allowing the production to take place there. Toms River also said no.

While the location is still up in the air, Snooki has already given a tease as to what viewers can expect in Season 2. "It would probably be up to my labor and [my baby] being born," she recently told E! News. But fans won't be invited into the delivery room. "Jionni wants it to be private and I totally respect him for that. But I'm going to record it for myself because I want to remember that moment. And I want to show Lorenzo when he's like 16 in front of all his friends and embarrass him."

Look out, Lorenzo! You're in for a wild ride.
