Sarah Jessica Parker’s twin daughters are scooter-loving lasses

Just when we thought Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's twin daughters couldn't get cuter, they helmet up and go for a scooter ride — on matching hot pink scooters no less.

Wearing colorful frocks and Mary Janes, Tabitha and Loretta, both 3, hit the streets in their New York City neighborhood on Thursday for a little exercise. After their nanny helped them fasten their helmets (safety first!), they climbed on their scooters, which were positioned side by side. And from the looks of things, they had a wheely good time.

Earlier this week, the 47-year-old actress, who is guest starring on "Glee," was pushing her girls in a stroller when an older boy on a scooter shot by on the sidewalk. The girls couldn't take their eyes off him; they were craning their necks and pointing. Perhaps mom bought their scooters — which were shiny and new looking — after seeing how interested they appeared to be in the activity.

Parker appears on the cover of Elle's November issue, which is dedicated to women in the film business. She talked to the magazine about her iconic role playing Carrie Bradshaw on "Sex and the City" as well as future roles. "I don't love the idea of playing another woman who loves fashion and is slightly flawed in New York City," she said. "I loved Carrie, and I don't want to do the poor man's version of her. And while those are often the lucrative things to do, it's more reason to look in the other direction."

Parker and some of her fellow Hollywood leading ladies — including Emma Watson, Kristen Wiig, and Susan Sarandon — will be honored by Elle at an awards ceremony in Los Angeles on October 15.

Wonder if she'll take a cue from her daughters and hit the red carpet on a scooter. We wish…
