Mom in the city Sarah Jessica Parker had a girls' day out with her adorable twin daughters on Tuesday as the "I Don't Know How She Does It" star — dressed all in gray — took 2-and-a-half-year-olds Tabitha (donning the pink sweater) and Loretta to dance class in Manhattan.

The trio strolled the streets comfortably since New York was experiencing a burst of warm weather (well, warm for the East Coast in January anyway) as temps reached the 50s. Sunny skies or not, SJP has proven herself to be an independent mom and is constantly snapped escorting her kids around New York sans a nanny, a rarity in the celeb world. "We don't have any live-in help. We're pretty hands-on parents," Parker told Vogue last summer. "That's something that's important to both of us, and we don't shirk it, because what's the point in having a family if you're not going to really participate in it, you know?"

The actress and hubby Matthew Broderick, who are also parents to 8-year-old James Wilkie, had the twins via surrogate in June 2009.
