When Reese Witherspoon revealed she "would love to have more kids" in a January interview, we had no idea she'd be pregnant so soon! But both People and Us Weekly report that sources close to Reese confirm that the Oscar winner, who has been sporting loose-fitting ensembles in recent weeks, is in fact expecting her third child, and her first with her husband of one year, Hollywood agent Jim Toth. Us Weekly adds that she's about "12 weeks along." The actress, who turns 36 on March 22, is already mom to daughter Ava, 12, and son Deacon, 8, from her seven-year marriage with actor Ryan Phillippe that ended in divorce in 2006.

"Jim and Reese are looking forward to having a bigger family at this point in life," the friend told People, adding that Jim "adores Ava and Deacon. They can take the time to enjoy the next stage and make sure the transition for all is easy and joyful."

Reese herself revealed last year just how much she loves being a mommy. "I know it's corny, but being a parent to me is such a great privilege; that I get to chaperone these beautiful little souls through life," the "Legally Blonde" star told Vogue. "They astound me with their knowledge and their humor. Parenthood is not at all what I expected it to be. I thought you make little people in your image. But they are just nothing like me or their father. They are their own individuals."
