Kourtney and Kim Kardashian take Mason on a wildlife adventure

Pretty soon the charmed world of Kourtney Kardashian's son Mason will be rocked when his little sister arrives and his status as only child disappears. Perhaps with that in mind, the mom-to-be and some of her omnipresent family members treated the 2-year-old little guy to a fun day at the zoo.

The mother and son were accompanied by her mother, Kris Jenner, and siblings Kim and Rob Kardashian, for their wild adventure at the San Diego Zoo on Tuesday. Kourtney, 33, kept comfortable in a loose-fitting knit dress and wore a straw hat and sunglasses. Mason, whose father Scott Disick is known to take some fashion risks, was outfitted like your typical tot in a black shirt, yellow Capri pants, and high-top sneakers with Velcro closures. He held on tight to a clearly beloved plush toy.

The family piled onto a zoo trolley to be shuttled around the extensive wildlife facility. Kim, 31, played the doting aunt, carrying Mason around — because her sister is no longer in a position to do so — and making funny animal impressions to entertain him.

Kourtney's second pregnancy has been different from the first. "I remember when I first got pregnant with Mason … I wanted fruit and frozen yogurt and all this [healthy] stuff," the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star said during an interview on "The Rachael Ray Show." "This time it's like cheeseburgers, sour cream and onion chips, and double-stuffed Oreos." She noted that she's had to curb her cravings though — because of Mason. "Mason started eating the Oreos [I bought for myself] and then I said 'OK, we're not buying Oreos anymore!'"

Although Mason's life will soon be changing with the addition of his first sibling, Kourtney noted that her son is just as eager as she is to meet the new baby. "He's really excited. Yesterday he was talking about how he's excited to hold her and he's been, like, recently obsessed with babies."
Hmm… We'll see if he feels the same after Baby Girl Disick actually arrives!
