The Hoff Knows Best (Sometimes)

OK, so former "Baywatch" star David Hasselhoff is not exactly Father of the Year. More than once, daughters Hayley and Taylor-Ann have had to step in to help when he's had way too much to drink. (See: the unfortunate hamburger incident.)

Still, somehow the Hoff has managed to maintain a close relationship with both his beautiful girls. On Wednesday, the 57-year-old actor and his youngest, 17-year-old Hayley, even met for a casual lunch in the Big Apple. Dad donned a button-down, cargo pants, and colorful moccasins, while daughter sported a sweet, floral summer dress toughened up with a chic black blazer, chain handbag, and wedges. She's looking quite grown up, no?

Up-and-coming actress Hayley even gave her dad and mom Pamela Bach props recently as she promoted her new ABC Family show, "Huge," about a camp for overweight teenagers. "My parents always told me I'm beautiful the way that I am and I never thought to myself that I needed to be skinny because there's a magazine out there that said, 'Oh, size two or oh, this girl's beautiful because she's skinny,'" Hayley told "Access Hollywood." "I'm comfortable with being a voluptuous woman because I'm not going to be a size two and that's OK with me."

There's no question the Hoff's made major parenting mistakes in the past, but obviously he's doing something right when it comes to raising his teen!
