Heidi Klum and her daughters are lipstick ladies

Suri Cruise isn't the only celebrity kid who knows her way around a makeup counter. Just look at the matching puckers on Heidi Klum and her daughters during their girls' day out in New York City on Tuesday.

The 39-year-old "Project Runway" host and her daughters — Leni, 8, and Lou, 2 — arrived for a birthday party at the Children's Museum of Arts in Manhattan sporting the same bright red lip color. And make no mistake — this wasn't an amateur job. The girls didn't sneak into mom's makeup bag and test out (or smear on!) their findings. Instead, each of the gals appeared to have a flawless makeup application — though Klum does have extensive experience having been a model since she was 19 and briefly having her own special edition makeup line for Victoria's Secret.

A few months back, Klum, who is in the process of divorcing Seal (also father to their sons: Henry, 6 and Johan, 5), tweeted a picture from one of her first photo shoots. The German beauty, who had long brown hair in the photo, was laying on a stuffed animal covered bed wearing a yellow, one-shoulder tulle dress. "Wow! Check out this picture from 1992," Klum wrote when she tweeted the photo. "One of my very first photo shoots. This is my original hair color!"

The tenth season of "Project Runway" premiered last week on Lifetime — the same day the show was nominated for four more Emmy Awards. In an interview with the Miami Herald, Klum, who is the creator and host of the series, said that the reality series is like a fifth child to her. "It's like one of my babies being born and being out there for so many years already now," she said. "So of course I'm extra proud."

Although Klum's kids are clearly very glam as well as fashion forward (let's not forget Klum recently told reporters that her No. 1 rule at home for her children is to, um, "always look cool"), they do not watch "Project Runaway." "My children don't really watch a lot of television yet," she told the paper. "Now my daughter, because she's 8, friends are telling her more and more about 'Project Runway' and she's like, 'Oh yeah, I visited my mom there a few times.' She doesn't really put it all together yet, which I think is really nice."

While Klum's daughters may not be that interested in what their mother does for a living right now, that could one day change. If they don't want to be in front of the camera like mom, they could do behind-the-scenes work — perhaps as makeup artists?
