Two days after wowing the crowds on the Oscars red carpet with her stunning Marchesa gown, Halle Berry was back to basics, donning jeans and a black Hudson jacket for a trip to Toys 'R' Us in L.A. with her adorable daughter Nahla.
Halle's stylish little girl sported a sweater dress, polka dot leggings, and gray boots for her trip to the toy store. Can you believe the cutie is turning three on March 16?
After stocking up on toys (perhaps for Nahla's birthday?), the pair headed off to visit the My Gym Children's Fitness Centre in West Hollywood. I'm guessing they took part in the gym's "Terrific Tots" class, where kids get to play games and practice their gymnastic skills. Fun!
Although she made quite a few headlines last month thanks to her ugly custody battle with Nahla's daddy, Gabriel Aubry, life looks to be returning to normal for Berry. The 44-year-old actress and her former model beau seem to have resolved some of their issues -- or at least are now restraining themselves from airing their issues in public. Gabriel withdrew his custody petition earlier this month, but will continue with a paternity action, which will take now place behind closed doors. If accepted by the courts, the petition will protect the Canadian's fatherly rights pertaining to Nahla.
In a recent interview with TheNational.com, Berry said, "Children shift your priorities and now I have a greater purpose for being here. I love making movies but I would give it all up to go and be with my daughter somewhere if I had to because she's the center and love of my life. She's made me a better person because everything I do and say, everything I want and don't want, I think about her first: 'Will this be best for her?'"
