It was a day filled with pomp and circumstance when Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom attended the eighth grade graduation of his daughter this week.
Khloe and Lamar, who married in 2009, attended the commencement exercises of his eldest child, Destiny, at her Manhattan middle school on Wednesday. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" stars towered over the heads of the young graduates as they walked through the crowded hallway to find Destiny, 14, after the ceremony. When they met up, Destiny, who wore a sparkly crown and white dress for the occasion, hugged her stepmother and gave her father two thumbs up.
The same day, Lamar brought his 10-year-old son Lamar Jr., who is also from his relationship with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales, to a local store to pick up slushies and snacks — a smart move with a heat wave blanketing the Northeast.
Pretty soon there could be more Odoms running around. The couple, who have put their spin-off reality series "Khloe & Lamar" on hiatus, have long been trying to have children of their own. Us Weekly recently reported that Khloe, 27, started fertility treatments. "They really want to have a baby and are trying everything," an insider told the magazine.
Lamar's other focus has been getting his NBA career back on track. This past season the 32-year-old basketball star was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, which didn't work out and he was cut from the team. He's currently in talks with the L.A. Clippers to join their squad, which would be a double win for the pro athlete — not only did he begin his career with the team, but he would be back home in Los Angeles.
A source told Radar Online, "Lamar's agent is in talks with the Clippers. He and Khloe are thrilled that he'll be returning to the team and that they will get to stay in L.A. and be close to their families. Lamar wants to return to Los Angeles and the Clippers want him. They just need to work out finances and contractual issues."
And courtside seats for Khloe!
