Bethenny Frankel’s Life as a ‘Skinnygirl’

After grabbing some Starbucks, Bethenny Frankel was spotted strolling around NYC's SoHo neighborhood on Monday with husband Jason Hoppy, daughter Brynn, and their dog, Cookie. The 41-year-old reality star was tweeting up a storm around the holidays. "Happy new year my beloved tweeps!!! Did everyone have fun?what time did u get home.we went to bed at 2.up at 7 w bryn.oof!"

She's also been busy promoting her line of Skinnygirl products, which started out with some ready-to-drink bottled margaritas and has evolved into a lifestyle brand. Though she sold off the Skinnygirl cocktail biz in March 2011 for an undisclosed amount, Frankel continues to serve as the face of the company, which now includes everything from daily cleanses to a new skin care line available exclusively at Walmart.

"Skinnygirl is about practical solutions for women," she explained in an interview with Wetpaint Entertainment. "I'm providing an effective, affordable skin care line that solves problems ranging from exfoliation to firming to shimmering. Every product line has a purpose."

When asked why she teamed up with Walmart, Frankel noted, "I'm not a fancy lady at heart. You will be hard-pressed to find me at an expensive department store, but you will definitely see me roaming the aisles at Walmart!" Hmm ... while I love Bethenny, I don't know of any Walmarts in Manhattan -- yet.

If Walmart does happen to open a store the Big Apple, New Yorkers could very well bump into Bethenny in one of the aisles. During the last season of her Bravo reality show, "Bethenny Ever After," it appeared as if Frankel and her family would be relocating to Los Angeles, but since she purchased a $5 million dollar condo in Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood last summer (in the same building where Beyonce and Jay-Z swapped their secret wedding vows a few years ago) it seems safe to say she won't be swapping coasts any time soon. Still, in the past she's admitted that she'd be open to relocate if the right business opportunity presented itself. "We're not 26," the former "Skating With the Stars" contestant said, "and I'm not just going to decide to move there unless it's right for work."
