(Ah, that explains Ben's groovy, shaggy locks.) Fortunately, he made it back to L.A. just in time to celebrate Thanksgiving with his family. Ben was even snapped picking up Violet from school in Santa Monica, California, on Monday with his youngest daughter Seraphina in tow. Perhaps Jen, who is pregnant with the couple's third child, was prepping for their Thanksgiving dinner?
The actress recently opened up to Yahoo! Shine about some of her family's holiday traditions. When asked who does the cooking at her house, Jen exclaimed, "I do! Thanksgiving is my favorite day of the year. I absolutely take over." As for her favorite dish, she has a couple that she knows she can always rely on.
"My grandmother made a sweet potato pudding with marshmallows on top," she shared. "My family can't do without it. And leftovers aren't complete without it either, so we make a huge vat of it. I also always make a cranberry glazed turkey."
Hmm ... wonder if they have room for one more at their Thanksgiving table.
