Angelina Jolie gets visit from twins while filming ‘Maleficent’

The Jolie-Pitt twins are pretty brave kids. Knox and Vivienne, who will turn 4 next month, didn't seem to bat an eye as they watched their mother Angelina Jolie — decked out in a long cape, facial prostheses, and giant horns coming out of her head — film a scene for her upcoming flick "Maleficent" on Wednesday in Buckinghamshire, England. After watching from afar in a field with their nanny, Knox and Vivienne were able to get up close in between takes. Jolie, 37, was even spotted walking around in full costume with Knox on her hip.

"It's a really great script and I'm having a lot of fun," the actress said in March of the Disney movie, which will be a reimagining of "Sleeping Beauty" from the perspective of the villainess. "My kids are very happy." And so is Jolie. The iconic fairytale "is not anti-princess, but it's the first time they're looking at this epic woman [in a different way]," she explained. "I hope in the end you see a woman who is capable of being many things, and just because she protects herself and is aggressive, it doesn't mean she can't have other [warmer] qualities. You have to figure out the puzzle of what she is."

"Maleficent," which will be in 3-D, also stars Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora and Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville as the three fairies, and is expected to hit theaters in March 2014.
