Taylor Swift to Receive Award From Michelle Obama

Get ready to see Taylor Swift's shock and awe face this weekend! The singer/songwriter will be honored with The Big Help award presented by none other than Michelle Obama at the 25th annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday. (The First Lady herself took home the honor in 2010 for her Let's Move! campaign to fight childhood obesity.) The award, which recognizes people who take actions to better the world and inspire kids to do the same, will go to Swift, 22, for her work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, St. Jude Medical Center, Habitat for Humanity, and the Red Cross, among others. Taylor's efforts include raising $750,000 for storm victims in southern states by selling tickets to a dress rehearsal for her Speak Now tour last year. She also invited leukemia patient Kevin McGuire to be her date to the Academy of Country Music Awards this coming Sunday.

While I'm sure Kevin and Taylor will have fun no matter what happens, they could be in for an even bigger night than expected. The "Ours" artist has been announced as a presenter at the ceremony, as well as a nominee in three categories, including Entertainer of the Year, a title she took home in 2011. And Taylor's already pulling out all the stops when it comes to the fan-voted awards show! She even posted a cute video that shows her explaining to her cat, Meredith, just how fans can vote for Taylor.

Check out Taylor with Mrs. Obama at the Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday, March 31 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Nickelodeon. Then on Sunday, April 1, tune into the ACM Awards on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
