Well, there's at least one member of the Kennedy clan who is not a fan of Taylor Swift. Victoria Gifford Kennedy, the mother of the bride in the Kennedy family wedding that Taylor and her boyfriend Conor Kennedy attended Saturday in Boston, has said some not-so-flattering things about the country cutie, including that Swift crashed her daughter Kyle's big day! Kennedy, who goes by Vicki, is the widow of the late Michael Kennedy, who died in a skiing accident in 1997, and was the son of Robert F. and Ethel Kennedy. She's also the aunt of 18-year-old Conor, the offspring of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (he's the son of Bobby and Ethel), and the late Mary Kennedy, who committed suicide in May. Are you still with me? Anyway, Vicki herself has revealed details to The Boston Herald. According to her, Conor had never RSVPed to the family bash, so she didn't expect her nephew, much less his spotlight-stealing girlfriend. "They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come," Kennedy told the newspaper. "I responded with a very clear, 'Please do not come.' They came anyway." Well, perhaps Conor didn't relay the "do not come" message to Taylor? Later, Kennedy said, "I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me." ("Today's" Kathie Lee Gifford, Vicki's step-mother who was also at the wedding, confirmed Vicki's story about text messaging and the fact that Vicki was not happy about the couple's presence.)

Taylor and her beau's arrival at the venue, the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel, did cause somewhat of a commotion. The 22-year-old singer even posed with some of her fans for pics. Still, Taylor's spokeswoman Paula Erikson attempted to debunk Kennedy's story. "There is no truth to that," Erikson said. "Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there." Since they hadn't reserved a meal ahead of time, the couple did the polite thing and left the reception during dinner. They returned in time to dance the night away with the rest of the fam ... and presumably a DJ playing "Funky Town."
So far, Taylor seems to be fitting in nicely with the rest of the Kennedys. On Sunday, she was spotted with the family at Our Lady of Victory Catholic church on Cape Cod. Part of the group, including Taylor and Conor, later visited the nearby unmarked grave of Conor's recently deceased mother at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. The group appeared to be clearing the grave of weeds and praying at one point, according to The New York Daily News. But even that solemn outing prompted some PDA from the couple of about two months. The newspaper reported that the two were "holding hands" and that Taylor "caressed" her beau. As in love as they seem to be, Taylor and Conor will soon be torn apart by an age old tradition: high school. Young Conor must complete his studies at Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Massachusetts. In the meantime, perhaps Taylor could ask her pal Ethel to talk to Vicki?
