Miley Makes Wishes Come True

Say what you want about Miley Cyrus dressing and dancing inappropriately for her age, but the 17-year-old is an awesome role model when it comes to giving back.

On Wednesday, the "Hannah Montana" actress sang her inspirational song "The Climb" and met 30 fans with life-threatening illnesses as part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation's World Wish Day. Onstage at The Grove in LA, wearing a long tank top, black leggings, and a shredded vest, the teen queen explained the event was not a one-time thing for her.

"I think I've granted 105 wishes or something like that," Miley joked, before getting more serious. "I've met a lot of amazing people and survivors and fighters and very courageous people, and I've definitely learned a lot from every child that I've met."

The "Last Song" star also plugged her own charity, Get Ur Good On, which awards cash to teens leading projects that will help their communities. Wow, who knew Miley was such a do-gooder?

Of course, our favorite Disney diva somehow still finds time for her professional projects. Her latest single, "Can't Be Tamed," arrives at radio stations Monday, and her new album goes on sale June 22.
