Leo and His ’5 Friends’ Get out the Vote

Leonardo DiCaprio and a bunch of his celebrity pals -- Halle Berry,Tobey Maguire, Usher, Ashton Kutcher, and Jonah Hill to name a few --got together to film a non-partisan PSA called '5 Friends' encouraging Americans to register and votein the upcoming election. The video uses humor, as well as a littlereverse psychology, in an attempt to get young peeps into the voting booththis November. Check it out:

According to the Center forInformation and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement, only half ofthe eligible voters under the age of 30 were registered to vote in2006, and only about half of those who were registered actually voted.That's kind of scary. Remember: If you don't register to vote, then youhave no voice. Spread the word!
