Will Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders work together on ‘Snow White’ sequel?

Could Kristen Stewart and her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders be working together again ... soon? The married 41-year-old married Sanders and the 22-year-old actress were photographed kissing and canoodling on July 17, which prompted Stewart to issue that now famous public apology to her boyfriend and "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson. Sanders also apologized to wife Liberty Ross and his two young children. (Calm down, Twi-hards! I know it makes you mad just thinking about it….) Then Wednesday, the usually reliable Hollywood Reporter wrote that Stewart had been dropped from a starring role in the much talked about sequel to "Snow White," which brought in $389 million worldwide at the box office. The next movie in the fairy tale franchise is "being reconceived as a spin-off movie" about the Huntsman, played by Chris Hemsworth, which was originally the plan for the third "Snow White" movie, sources told THR. However, the Los Angeles Times reported later that the studio behind the film, Universal, insists that "Stewart's Snow White could still be a character in that film." While there's no director on board for the sequel yet, Sanders "remains on the list of possible director candidates," according to the newspaper. So, it's somewhat of a long shot, but the reteaming of KStew and Sanders is still a possibility.

Pattinson, meanwhile, continued dodging questions about his former lady love as he appeared on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday. When interviewer George Stephanopoulos approached the subject, Pattinson made it clear he wasn't talking about it. "Everybody just wants to know: how are you doing? What do you want your fans to know about what's going on in your personal life?" Stephanopoulos asked, after presenting Pattinson with a box of his favorite cereal, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, in an effort to make him more willing to chat. "[My fans] seem pretty excited about ... kind of whatever," Pattinson responded. "Um, I'd like my fans to know that Cinnamon Toast Crunch is just 130 calories [a serving]. Pretty much everything that comes out of my mouth is irrelevant." (Um, thanks for the nutrition tip, RPattz!) The actor later went on to explain his stance on dealing with the media. "You go into it to do movies," he said. "I've never been interested in trying to sell my personal life. The reason why you go onto TV is to promote movies."

Of course, everyone's waiting to see how Pattinson and Stewart will handle working together again when they do the promotional rounds for the final "Twilight" flick, "Breaking Dawn — Part 2," just before it comes out November 16. The two, who play married vampires Edward and Bella, always seemed so close when making the media rounds for previous films. They often made appearances with their co-star and good friend Taylor Lautner. Who do you think he'll side with in the split?
