Kelly Clarkson Tops the Charts

Thanks to 254,111 loyal listeners and pop fanatics, Kelly Clarkson's fourth studio album, "All I Ever Wanted" -- bouyed by the number one hit single "My Life Would Suck Without You" -- opened at the top of the Billboard 200 chart this week. It's an amazing achievement in this day and age when so much music is pirated, but I'm not in the least bit surprised by her deserved success. She is the first "American Idol," the best "American Idol" … and in my opinion, the only "American Idol." Sorry, Carrie. You're good, but you're not great.

Luckily for buyers, the set contains numerous hits. "MLWSWY" is amazing, but wait until you hear: girl power anthem "I Do Not Hook Up," kiss-off rocker "Don't Let Me Stop You," fist-pumping jam "All I Ever Wanted," Kelly-penned "Already Gone," piano balled "Save You," and rollicking romp "Long Shot." If you already have the album, I'm sure you'll agree that everyone of those tracks has the potential to become a colossal single like past triumphs "Since U Been Gone," "Breakaway," and "Miss Independent."

So, if you don't already have "All I Ever Wanted," I suggest you go grab a copy ASAP. And if you do, in fact, have it, let me know which other songs you absolutely adore. My personal fave would have to be "I Do Not Hook Up," but I'm sure I'll change my mind come tomorrow!
