Over the weekend, Justin Bieber -- the hardest working teen in show business -- finally took a day off to play at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California. Of course, in between screaming on the thrill rides at the amusement park, the 16-year-old heartthrob made time to greet some of his fans and take a photo op with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.
After all, Bieber wouldn't be where he is today were it not for the fan base he built on YouTube. In addition to interacting with his almost 2.4 million Twitter followers on a regular basis, he tells Time, "I also try to read all of my fan mail. A lot of them send me candy, which I'm not allowed to eat 'cause my mom says it might be poisonous," he adds. Who would poison JBiebs?!
Speaking of moms, while Justin's Saturday was all about fun, Sunday was all about his mom, Pattie Mallette. The singing sensation started the day off with a Mother's Day tweet: "Good morning and happy Mother's Day to all the Mamas out there. I love you @studiomama. thank you for everything u do. Happy Mother's Day." Awww... Then, Bieber (and his bodyguard) took his mom on a shopping spree at The Grove in LA, before treating her to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.
An eyewitness told E! News: "Young female shoppers quickly realized it was him and started whipping out their cell phones to take pictures from afar. He was super easygoing with it all and was smiling the whole time."
