Justin Bieber Lights Up Christmas

He's long been known for his hairdo, but from now on Justin Bieber will forever be associated with Christmas. You see, the Canadian heartthrob's new album, Under the Mistletoe, released November 1, is already doing quite well. MTV predicts the collection of holiday-themed original songs as well as some standards, including the Mariah Carey ditty "All I Want for Christmas Is You," will debut atop the latest edition of the Billboard 200 chart, with sales of more than 200,000. The Biebs also has just dropped a Claymation video for "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," which follows his clip for the sure-to-become-a-classic tune "Mistletoe."

Cementing his Father Christmas status, Bieber flipped the switch turning on festive lights at both the Westfield Shopping Centre and Westfield Stratford City malls in London on Monday. (Fun fact: Justin, 17, traveled the 12 miles between the two venues by helicopter!)

And word is that thousands of screaming Beliebers greeted the pint-sized pop star, despite the lawsuit he's facing from Mariah Yeater, 20, who claims the "Baby" crooner is the father of her 3-month-old little one. Justin's shot down the allegations, and has agreed to take a paternity test when he returns to the United States.

Meanwhile, he appears to be staying merry. "So this past week and even today every rumor and lie about me possible has been coming out in the press. Just need to ignore it..but... even through all the crap and lies...my fans have been there for me," Bieber tweeted Tuesday. What do you think of the story?
