Jonas Brothers Inspire Tween Clothing Line

The Jonas Brothers brand just keeps on growing thanks to the popularity of the musical siblings, Kevin (21), Joe (19), and Nick (16.) Their first movie, "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience," premiered a couple of weeks ago, they recently announced that they are kicking off a world tour on June 20, and now they will even have their own sportswear line for tween girls! Okay, they're not actually designing the collection (that's probably a good thing!), but the preppy fashion seen on their upcoming TV show, "Jonas," on the Disney Channel, serves to inspire it.

The apparel line, simply called Jonas, will hit mass retailers such as Walmart, Kmart, Sears, and J.C. Penney just in time for back-to-school shopping. According to Women's Wear Daily, Jonas will include woven tops, t-shirts, polos with ruffle accents, plaid belted shorts, leggings, denim skirts, and jeans. There will even be an argyle sweater vest with the logo of their characters' fictional high school, Horace Mantis Academy! Fortunately, mom and dad won't have to break the bank to purchase the clothing. The collection will retail from $9.99 to $24.99.

"The Jonas Brothers are a lifestyle, not just a boy band," notes Pamela Lifford, executive vice president, Global Fashion & Home, Disney Consumer Products. "Their movie lets you into their world, and the clothing line is just another way to do that; it's a way to get closer to them and their world."
