Jaden Smith Debuts His New Song ‘Give It to ‘Em’

The Smiths are becoming as ubiquitous as the Kardashians! Well, almost. As Will is gearing up for the release of his big-budget sequel "Men in Black 3" on May 25, Jada continues her acting career, and daughter Willow goes globe-trotting, son Jaden has debuted a new song. The 13-year-old singer/actor premiered the track "Give It to 'Em" on Ryan Seacrest's L.A.-area morning radio show on Monday.

The rap song sounds like something teen stars Kris Kross might have sung back in the day! Sample lyrics: "Young, black with accessories/And I'm doing well, never seen a penitentiary/Cause they can't sentence the greatest MC they've ever seen/No I'm not, but if you're going to bother me, then you better be." The video reminds us that Jaden, just like his dad, the former "Fresh Prince," knows how to bust a rhyme. Of course, he's done it before, like last month when he sampled his friend Justin Bieber's song "Boyfriend" on his own "Flame," or when he joined Bieber on the song "Never Say Never" from the soundtrack of his 2010 hit remake of "The Karate Kid." What do you think of "Give It to 'Em"?

While Jaden's obviously got a career as a singer ahead of him if he wants it, the teen's main focus is on acting. Will revealed last week that his son is seriously ambitious about a future in film. "Jaden is probably the one of my kids who looks at me like I'm meat," he told Celebuzz. "He's like, 'I'm coming for you.' You have no idea!" Will added, "I tell him all the time, 'Son, listen. I'm going to teach you everything I know. You'll work hard and, y'know, you'll be the second biggest movie star in the world!'" Jaden's next acting gig, according to IMDB, is a 2013 M. Night Shyamalan flick that stars his dad.
