There's nothing like a day at the beach … especially if it's your birthday!
Ashley Tisdale celebrated her 27th in Malibu, where she looked happy as could be while kissing her music video director boyfriend Scott Speer on the sand. Though the couple split in December 2011, they reunited this past May and appeared to be more in love than ever at the beach bash. When Tisdale — who sported cut-offs and a yellow fringe bikini top for the occasion — wasn't stealing smooches with her main squeeze, the actress partied with some of her closest pals including Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, and her dog Maui, of course! While Hudgens' boyfriend, Austin Butler, was also in attendance, Gomez was Bieber-less. (The pop star has been busy doing promotion and rehearsing for his upcoming Believe tour.)
Although JBiebs wasn't available to perform for the birthday girl, Tisdale — who is one of the faces of Op's spring/summer 2012 ad campaign — did receive a special gift courtesy of the brand: a cute pink-and-yellow Op Vespa. Ah, the perks of being a celeb!
When the sun went down, the actress and her crew gathered around a bonfire. "Magical night at the beach!" she tweeted with a photo, before wrapping up the festivities with dinner at Tra di Noi, a local Italian eatery. Sounds like a pretty perfect day, eh?
Also celebrating a birthday on July 2 was Lindsay Lohan. The actress reportedly rang in her 26th late on Sunday evening with a private party at Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood . "She sat at her table close to the DJ," an eyewitness told Us Weekly. "[The Band] Speakerz was there and performed several songs for Lindsay. She was loving them and looked happy and carefree as she danced all around with her friends." But she stayed away from the booze. "There was a ton of alcohol at Lindsay's table, however she didn't appear to be drinking," the source added.
