Lauren Conrad adopts ‘little cutie’ from shelter

Who could resist this face? Certainly not Lauren Conrad, who adopted the adorable puppy named Fitz from a Los Angeles-area animal shelter last week. "Never go to the animal shelter 'just to look,'" she wrote on Instagram along with a pic of the little guy staring back at her from behind a cage. "It never ends that way."

Luckily for Fitz, the former reality star fell in love with him instantly and now he's living like a king at her home along with Conrad's other adopted dog, Chloe. And the two are getting along like old friends.

The 26-year-old has posted a bunch of photos on Instagram the past few days of the pooches — who she has nicknamed Double Trouble — sitting side by side on the same dog bed. In another pic, the two are touching noses … albeit 4-year-old Chloe's is considerably bigger. "All I want to do is take pictures of this little cutie," she wrote about another pic of Fitz taking in his new surroundings.

Conrad will have a lot more time play with Fitz now that she has wrapped her book tour for her two new releases, Lauren Conrad Beauty and the novel, Starstruck.
