In fact, the 19-year-old has been petitioning her late mother’s fans to boycott the memoir on Twitter. Days after it was released, Bobbi Kristina told her 120,000 followers on January 31 that she has “NOTHING” to do with her grandmother’s book. “Haven't read&won't,” she added.
A few minutes later, she continued, “find it 2B Disrespect2MYMOTHER & me being HERDAUGHTER won't tolerate it … I KNOW THE TRUTH . HER [Cissy].... #Oblivious & #OUTOFLINEWRONG. But it's all good & nothing but love, MYMOTHER taught ME better than that.”

Since then, Bobbi Kristina has been re-tweeting her supporters, who have agreed not to buy Cissy’s book – and for those who have dared to challenge her, she’s blocked them on the social network.
It’s been a bumpy ride for Cissy and her strong-willed granddaughter ever since the “I Will Always Love You” singer died last February 11 at the age of 48. While the 79-year-old has been in New Jersey near her son Gary and his family, Bobbi Kristina has been living in Atlanta with her “adopted” brother-turned-lover, Nick Gordon – and that has created a ton of tension in the family, as evidenced on their Lifetime reality series, “The Houstons: On Our Own.”
In a clip of Bobbi Kristina and Nick announcing their engagement, Pat Houston, the wife of Whitney’s brother Gary, exclaims, "Engagement? This is unacceptable." Then Gary himself gets involved, telling Gordon, "No one knew that from a godson you would turn into a boyfriend.”
Soon after, the two announced they had broken up. "I think it has a lot to do with the family not liking Nick, considering he was a godson and then they became a couple,” a source told Us Weekly in December.

In a recent interview with People magazine, Cissy revealed that Bobbi Kristina never calls her, “[But] I'm here if she needs anything."
She also admitted that she worries her granddaughter will head down the same destructive path as Whitney. “I don't want to jinx her. I'm trying to make sure she doesn't."
Still, in the same interview, Cissy gave Bobbi Kristina a backhanded compliment, saying that she thought the teen would “make a really good actress,” but as for following in her mother’s footsteps, she speculated, "Singer, I don't know..."
