Adam Levine looks like he's taking style notes from his new "The Voice" co-star Gwen Stefani.
The 35-year-old musician (and reigning Sexiest Man Alive according to "People") dyed his dark locks platinum blond, which is nearly the same color as the No Doubt singer's signature 'do. Levine revealed his extreme new style in a snapshot on Twitter on Saturday.
"Apocalypse prep course complete," he succinctly captioned the shot.
Also ready for the apocalypse in the pic is Levine's fiancée, Behati Prinsloo. It appears that the Victoria's Secret Angel changed up her hair a bit as well, trading her ombre highlights for a steady brunette shade. But, while they're both so beautiful it (almost) hurts, her subtle change pales in comparison to Levine's drastic transformation.
Though the Maroon 5 front man began mixing it up a bit as early as last month, when he shaved half of his head, this is the first time we've seen the star with such light locks—and, if you ask us, he's looking white hot.
While his fans seem to disagree with the change, the "Moves Like Jagger" crooner is standing by his coif.
According Shaul Arbiv, who owns Shampoo On 3rd Hair Salon in Los Angeles, and was responsible for Levine's new tresses, the singer wanted to mix it up for the warmer season.
"With summer months coming up we wanted to do something totally drastic and different so we bleached it," he explained. "I have been working with Adam for a long time and he likes to change up his style often."
Now it seems the only question that remains is whether Behati will make her betrothed go back to his roots before the wedding.
