Justin Bieber isn't the only star having run-ins with the cops. On Saturday police responded to a call from the home of Selena Gomez (who — in case you forgot — happens to be Justin's ex). But it wasn't the raven-haired beauty who was accused of breaking the law; officers had received word that there was an intruder on her Tarzana, California, property.
According to reports, one of Selena's family members saw a young man wandering around the house that morning and called 911. Police arrived and arrested 19-year-old Juan Daniel Garcia on suspicion of trespassing shortly thereafter, at 9:25 a.m., the LAPD has confirmed to Yahoo. As of now, it remains unclear how long he had been lurking around before he was first spotted.
For his part, the teen allegedly told the cops that he was there to see Selena in person, though officers would not confirm if the "Come and Get It" singer had been home at the time of the incident. Garcia's bail was set at $1,000.
While we'll have to wait and see how this all shakes out, something tells us Selena probably didn't have their face-to-face meeting on her calendar — and that she and her family will be sleeping better tonight knowing Garcia won't be stopping by for another surprise visit.
