The Surprising Music Careers of Your Favorite TV Stars

They may be stars on television, but these actresses are setting their sights on a music career. Bellamy Young from "Scandal," Katey Sagal from "Sons of Anarchy," and Lucy Hale "Pretty Little Liars" are fanning the flames of some hot new albums.

"omg! Insider" caught up with Bellamy, who plays First Lady Mellie Grant on the hit ABC show, and aside from gushing about the exciting series, she was also ready to talk about one of her upcoming projects: her music. "I am recording an album in L.A. over a little hiatus from 'Scandal.' I'm so excited. It's going to be an eclectic mix of songs from Bonnie Raitt to Fleetwood Mac. It's a moment that I can't believe is coming true."

Sagal stars as Gemma Teller Morrow on "Sons of Anarchy" but playing the rough and tumble character isn't her only gig. This week, the actress released her third studio album, "Covered," which includes covers from songs by Ryan Adams, Tom Petty, and Ray LaMontagne. She previously released "Room" in 2004 and "Well" in 1994. While this is her first new record in nine years, she has also found a way to incorporate music into her acting work. She recently told Billboard magazine, "Every season I sing at least one song in the soundtrack. My husband, who writes the show, and Bob, who does the music, came up with great covers for me to do. I was on that track, doing covers on the show, so I thought I would continue that. It's been great."

Our favorite "Pretty Little Liar," Lucy, has been working on a country record scheduled for release in early 2014 (sorry, you'll have to wait just a bit longer!). We just wonder what else she has in store for us.
