The "Late Night" host, 38, and his wife, Nancy Juvonen Fallon, 46, welcomed a baby girl on Tuesday morning at 6:21 a.m. ET, Fallon's rep confirms to omg!. People was the first to report the happy news.
Naturally, the first-time parents are "overjoyed about the arrival of their beautiful daughter."
And so is the rest of the world, particularly since nobody seemed to have a clue they were expecting!
The baby girl, whose name has yet to be revealed, joins the family's golden retriever, Gary Frick.
Fallon, who will be taking over as host of "The Tonight Show" next year, wed the film producer — whom he has described as "the coolest girl in the world" — in December 2007. The couple met while the funnyman was starring alongside Drew Barrymore in 2005's "Fever Pitch." The movie was produced by Flower Films, which his wife and Barrymore co-own.
Congrats to Jimmy and Nancy on their new bundle of joy!
Here's hoping we don't have to add Jimmy to our weird celebrity baby names gallery!
