In honor of Presidents Day, we're taking a look at some of the Hollywood stars who have walked the halls of the White House. No one was more candid about time at 1600 Penn than the "Today" show's Al Roker. While promoting his book, "Never Goin' Back: Winning the Weight-Loss Battle for Good," the weatherman sat down with "Dateline" and made a rather embarrassing admission about his trip to the Executive Mansion, just one month after having had gastric bypass surgery in 2002. He shared some of the lesser-known side effects of the procedure, which includes what Al described as "pooping your pants." Unfortunately for him, he suffered from this particular side effect while at the White House!
And Beyoncé visited the president with her brood in tow back in January to help the first lady ring in her 50th birthday. The party was closed to the press, but Queen B shared a flurry of photos of her time at the White House on her Tumblr account. Among the images she shared were pics of Jay Z, little Blue Ivy, and her walking on the front lawn. In another shot, the singer posed with Sunny Obama, — the president's family dog. But Beyoncé was there on official birthday-bash business and performed for Michelle while wearing a gorgeous silver sequined dress.
Earlier this month, some of Tinseltown's elite arrived at the White House for the state dinner in honor of the French president. Bradley Cooper, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Stephen Colbert, and Mindy Kaling were all in attendance, and Mindy even tweeted a pic of herself before dinner, with the caption "Bonjour Prime Minister Hollande! Bienvenue aux Etas Unis! #statedinner."
