As the custody battle between Charlie Sheen and ex Brooke Mueller over their 4-year-old twin sons Bob and Max heats up, a wrench has just been thrown in the proceedings.
That's because, the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services granted temporary custody and guardianship on Friday to Brooke's brother, Scott Mueller. And on top of that, Scott will reportedly be moving in with Brooke, enabling the kids to stay in the same school. Moreover, he'll be moving into the house that Charlie bought for Brooke, which is in the same gated community where Charlie lives.
DCFS approved Scott right away and Bob and Max were turned over to him shortly afterward. Photos showed the kids with Brooke and Scott following the hearing.
This latest development comes at the end of a tumultuous week in which Sheen, Mueller, and Charlie's other ex, Denise Richards, have been wrapped up in a nasty battle in the courts over custody of the twins.
Richards, who previously held temporary guardianship, wrote in a letter to DCFS earlier this week that she was no longer willing to watch the kids because they acted out violently towards her daughters with Charlie and her family pets.
Let's hope these four adults can work things out in the best interest of the children involved!
