Selena Gomez has plenty of tunes to sing, but she's still being selective with her word choice.
The 20-year-old starred in a YouTube Q&A today surrounding her new record "Star Dance," where she talked about touring and what her new batch of songs meant to her.
One fan asked about her most memorable moment in the studio, and Gomez revealed it was recording "Love Will Remember," a ballad she alluded to writing about Justin Bieber.
"I had really good people around me," she said of her time making the track with producers Rock Mafia.
"I never really want to live with any regret ... even if it's the worst feeling in the world. No matter it being a best friend, a family member, a boyfriend , a girlfriend, people come into your life for seasons," she surmised.
"You never know why they leave, they stay, but in the end love will remember."
Champagne will definitely be in order when Gomez releases the album on July 23, which also happens to be her 21st birthday! She'll kick off a tour in support of her new disc on August 14 in Vancouver.
