Prince Jackson to Make His Acting Debut

Prince Jackson is making his move in the entertainment industry.

The 16-year-old son of the late Michael Jackson has landed a guest role on the season finale of "90210." He'll play Cooper, a trauma victim who bonds with Jessica Stroup's character Silver over the realization that life is precious, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Just last week, Prince hit the airwaves of "Entertainment Tonight" as a correspondent, where his first assignment was to work the press junket for "Oz the Great and Powerful." He revealed during an interview with the show that he has big aspirations.

"I'm looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter, and actor," Prince said.

And he's not the first of the Jackson offspring to declare an interest in showbiz.

His 14-year-old sister Paris has already been cast in the upcoming movie "Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys." She's also spoken out about how some family members, most notably her famous Aunt Janet, don't approve.

While he was alive, former child star MJ seemed determined to keep his children out of the spotlight, and even hid them under masks and scarves in public. But who knows how he would feel now that the children are older? (Even Michael's youngest son, who goes by Blanket, turned 11 this month.)

Paris hasn't shown any reservations about her decision, and has made it clear that she doesn't want any special treatment because of her last name.

"I love my dad, and I'm proud to be his daughter," she told Glamour in September. "I just don't think the title 'M.J.'s daughter' fits me. A lot of people think he's the only reason I'm making it, but I want to show that I do have talent and that I can make it if I try. I want to be my own person."
