Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard probably don’t have to worry about their dog getting along with their future baby. Seems their pup Lola can’t get enough of her future sibling … and he or she hasn’t even made it out of the womb yet.

Bell posted a pic to her WhoSay account on Wednesday showing the couple’s pooch snuggled up to her bare belly, writing “Eavesdropping.”

It’s not the first time Lola (one of several dogs the couple is raising) has been snapped nuzzling up to her mom’s pregnant stomach. Last month, the 32-year-old posted a similar pic of the dog lying against her abdomen and captioned it, “Lolas new tactic: sitting on the baby as much as possible, like a chicken to an egg. Begging the baby to come out soon :)”

Though she kept her stomach covered in that pic, she hasn’t been shy about showing it off throughout her pregnancy.

A few weeks back, the mom-to-be gave friends a peek at her burgeoning belly on the streets of Los Angeles (which nearby photographers caught a glimpse of too ). And, last week, the couple made headlines when Shepard recounted – via a touching blog post – his last days with his dying father. Bell, he shared, had surprised both of them with an impromptu visit to the elder Shepard’s Detroit hospital room and let him say hello to his future grandchild. The story was accompanied by a moving photo of Shepard’s dad (who has since passed away) with his hand on Bell’s exposed abdomen.

"She lifted her shirt up and he put his hand on her swollen stomach. He left it there for the better part of an hour. He was smiling from ear to ear, sitting contently, unable to put together a sentence, but still capable of connecting to the new family member we were creating," Shepard wrote."He wasn't going to make it to the birth, but that didn't get in the way of him meeting the new baby. It was an emotional and triumphant moment. One I will never forget.”

We’re sure when baby Bell-Shepard arrives (any day now!), the couple will only ramp up the number of adorable baby/dog/family photos they share with fans. We say, keep ‘em coming!
